Eoghan Neff has composed for film, theatre, studio, and concert settings. His approach to composition and improvisation upon his acoustic or prepared fiddle has meant that he has become a favourite collaborator among film composers and studio producers alike who wish to expand beyond more established soundscapes. Eoghan's recorded output also has been synced for use on television documentaries and short films alike. As part of Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald's feature film The Eagle, celebrated composer Atli Örvarsson featured many of Eoghan's improvisations, short compositions, and surprising violinistic soundscapes throughout his critically acclaimed "outstanding score".
